One on one coaching, or rather a mentorship, offers you the opportunity to work very closely, and undistracted, with me. This allows you to get the most out of the program, and learn the most from me,  as well as gain a broader perspective on the art and craft of songwriting.
 
A single mentorship session is 3 hours, which can be broken up into 1/2 or 1 hour sessions, or any combination of your choosing.  This allows you to completely focus and concentrate on your own tailor made session. Any element of songwriting including lyrics, melody lines, harmonies, structure and form, and more can be covered. The topic for each session will be set by mutual discussion between you and I.  After all, it is your session,  your career,  and your money.
 
Once a session is booked,  you and I will communicate to establish your desires,  needs,  and level of experience in order to assure that I am fully prepared and will be able to optimize the usage of our time together.  Again, this allows you to gain the maximum benefit from the session.  One of my goals is for both of us to have a mutually satisfying experience.  A win-win for all.
 
Any aspect of songwriting can be addressed, lyrically or musically.  For example,  one student used a session for exploring ideas for songs,  methods and techniques to aid in inspiration,  and proper editing of the lyrics.  Another used the session to help with the chord structure,  correcting problems with the bridge,  and coming up with a killer chorus,  both lyrically and musically.  These are some examples on how others have used their sessions.
